Managing member roles
The difference between owner, organiser and member, and who can do what.
The three roles
Owners have full control of a society, including its settings and other members’ roles. Organisers can create and manage events, teams and Ryder Cups. Members can view fixtures, score their own rounds, and follow results.
Changing a member’s role
An owner can promote a trusted member to organiser at any time - useful for sharing the admin load across a committee rather than one person running everything.
